The Challenge
For this master suite, the family wanted real marble instead of the usual porcelain tile. Working with natural stone is a lot different than standard tile. It’s heavy, it’s fragile, and it needs a very solid floor underneath it so it doesn’t crack.
The Craftsmanship
We made sure to match up the veins in the marble so the pattern flows smoothly from the floor up the walls. Before we started, we reinforced the subfloor to make sure there was no flex at all, which is key for a stone floor. We finished the job with high-quality sealer and very tight grout lines to protect the stone and keep it looking sharp.
The Result
The new bathroom has a classic look that you can only get with real stone. The natural patterns in the marble make the room feel unique. By using top-tier materials and doing the structural work right, we built a bathroom that looks great and will stay that way for a long time.
