The Challenge
For this master suite, the family wanted something much better than a standard bathroom. They wanted a space that felt solid and well-built, with the kind of high-end woodwork you’d usually only see in a formal living room. The trick was making sure that detailed wood could handle the moisture of a bathroom.
The Craftsmanship
The main feature here is the custom coffered ceiling. We built it to add some real character to the room, but we also made sure to use the right materials and finishes so the steam from the shower wouldn’t damage the wood. We also put in a precise tile job, lighting in the wall niches, and solid fixtures. Every piece of the ceiling grid was fitted by hand so the joints are tight and clean.
The Result
By putting a lot of work into the ceiling, we turned a basic bathroom into something special. The finished room has the warmth of traditional woodwork but still feels modern and clean. It’s a good example of how we bring high-quality carpentry into every room we work on.
