The Challenge
The family wanted to do something different than a basic tile layout. They picked a herringbone pattern to give the bathroom a classic look. This kind of pattern is tricky because every cut has to be exact to keep the design lined up and centered across the whole floor and walls.
The Craftsmanship
We spent a lot of time planning the layout before we set the first tile. A herringbone pattern only looks good if every single piece is perfectly aligned. We used a color-matched grout to make the pattern pop without it looking too busy. Along with the tile, we installed a custom vanity and new fixtures to bring the whole room together.
The Result
The finished bathroom looks great and the herringbone tile is the main attraction. It gives the room a custom feel that you don’t see in every house. By taking the time to do the tile work right, we gave the owners a beautiful space that’s built to last.
