The Challenge
The family had a dark, unfinished basement and wanted to turn it into a real part of the house. They didn’t want that typical “basement feel,” so we had to plan a layout and pick finishes that made it feel just like the upstairs living areas.
The Craftsmanship
We started by framing the walls with moisture-resistant lumber and adding plenty of insulation to keep things dry and warm. Since there wasn’t much natural light, we installed a lot of recessed LED lights and accent lighting to brighten everything up. We used luxury vinyl plank flooring and custom trim to give the rooms a clean, finished look that’s much better than a basic basement job.
The Result
The basement is now a great spot for the family to hang out and relax. By using solid materials and a smart layout, we gave the owners a high-quality living area that adds a lot of useful space to their home.
