The Challenge
In Central New Jersey, bugs and changing weather often make it hard to enjoy a regular deck. The family wanted a space where they could sit outside without dealing with mosquitoes or rain. Our goal was to build a screened porch that felt open and bright but kept the inside completely protected from the weather.
The Craftsmanship
We built a heavy-duty frame designed to stay solid through every season. We used weather-resistant materials for the floors and trim so the inside stays clean and dry even when it’s storming outside. We installed the screens using a high-tension mesh that’s tough but still easy to see through. We made sure every door frame and joint was tight so no bugs can get in. The new porch ties directly into the house’s existing roofline and siding for a clean look.
The Result
The new screened porch gives the family an extra room they can use from early spring through late fall. It’s a great spot for coffee in the morning or hosting friends in the evening without worrying about the weather. It’s a solid, practical addition that makes the backyard much more usable.
